    Ho–lee–shit.
I've watched Chris on WILTY for years and seen some of his standup. I'd wondered how they were going to manage some of the tricks. I was prepared for the first one – where held his hands out before she did the cartwheel, and I though okay…this makes sense. But that LAST trick… WOW. Just wow. Fan-dam-tastic. Bravo Chris!! And bravo to your excellent teacher Dianne!

  2. In some ways Chris has an advantage over the other novice dancers. Because he is blind he has to be very aware of his surroundings and body positions. He would also have a great memory and be able to learn by rote.

  3. If the show were just him, and a document about his progress as a dancer then it might be worth watching.
But as it is a bunch of unknowns pretending they can't dance, and then a bunch of unknown judges giving criticism, and then based on social media following not talent for choosing the winner, it is not worth watching

You know that Chris won't win as there will be a plateau based on his blindness, and if he did win everyone would complain that he only won because he is blind.

So, I urge the BBC to just make a documentary series about how he learnt the dances with being blind.
And I want a comparison to how you train a blind dancer to training a deaf dancer, as there have been deaf contestant (if not in the UK then in the USA there was one).
It would be interesting to learn who had the harder journey blind or deaf.

Forget the boring unknown celebrity competition, give us something worth watching a documentary.
