it's a dumb theory omg you all need to read something else
She really needs to get over her anger for Tyrion. He is innocent.
What great theory! Definitely plays in Cersei character
She went insane because her eldest child and son died in her arms and she was already a bit of a psycho to begin with
Later it was revealed that olena was involved in killing Joffrey as she couldn’t see her daughter marrying the monster
As much as I like the theory, I do think it's a bit of a stretch to claim the lack of evidence is evidence .
What's an utterly stupid idea 😅
This is dark even for a song of ice, and fire
We'll never be sure, because the last 2 books will never come out 🙄😒😏
-She didn't "suddenly" go mad, in fact, she was never completely sane
-If the Tyrells are uninvolved, what's the point of Margaery's and Olenna's conversation with Sansa? They learn from her that Joffrey was an abuser and did nothing about it?
-PoVs imply many dark secrets from the characters even when not directly stated, such as Ned's promise to Lyanna. Missing Cersei's involvement when we are in her head would just be bad writing.
-Cersei believes Joffrey is poisoned because she is super biased against Tyrion and has never neen a reasonable person
Nope. Another completely shit theory with no regard for the text.
This is so incredibly stupid and not how repression works. Why didn’t she stop Joffrey eating the pie at the wedding?
When I saw the episode I immediately thought the poison was for the The imp and when Jeffery ate his pie and drunk his wine he got the poison instead I said that’s that bitches karma for trying to kill him she killed her own son cuz Sansa necklace made no sense at all
OK was she poisoning a random slice in the hopes Tyrion would be served it? This just all kinds of doesn't add up
Impossible, Cersei doesn't even know that Sansa was in the Vale
Well, that would depend on how much the show changed from the books. The queen of thorns admitted to Jaime she had Joffrey killed, and she talks about it with littlefinger at the brothel.
People forget Cersei is a total narcissist. She never "loved" her kids or Jaime as people. She saw them all as mere extentions of herself. They were posessions to her. It isn’t that far-fetched to think Cersei might’ve been behind Joffrey's poisoning. She knew she'd lost control of the monster she'd created, so she removed him as an obstacle. She knew she'd have much better luck ruling through Tommen who was easier to manipulate and still too young to marry or father heirs.
Well, it doesn't matter because we all wasted our time being fans of the books. He won't finish them.
1. I give a 50% chance that Petyr knew about the attempt to poison Tyrion but was not a direct conspirator
2. Olenna could still have poisoned Tyrion's pie to marry Sansa to Willas. Joffery would have been next as soon as Margaery bore a healthy son or sooner if Joffrey was dumb enough to harm or shame her before then
And how are they gonna dissolve the Strangler in a pie? I don't expect it to just dissolve after being dropped into it.
this is a massive fucking reach omg
